Kelci Makana Verdon is a queer artist from Canton, Georgia, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Driven by a fascination with the unconventional, Verdon’s work reflects a meditation on grief, rumination, and quiet remnants of love that linger in plain sight.
Verdon’s work opens a dialogue around the unseen, inviting viewers to pause and reflect amidst the noise of modern existence. They often photograph close friends and strangers, both in familiar and forgotten spaces, acknowledging the fleeting nature of impermanence.
